none of it is true.... my fiancee (and car) are doing fine... As for what is the point, there isnt really one except I guess to have abit of a laugh mostly at ppl that post emotional problems on a car forum. (no offence intended)

I've suspected for some time now that my girlfriend is cheating. The usual signs... Phone rings but if I answer, the caller hangs up. She has been going out with the girls a lot recently although when I ask their names she says, "Just some friends from work. You don't know them." I always stay awake to look for her taxi coming home, but she always walks down the drive although I can hear a car driving off as if she got out around the corner. Why? Maybe she wasn't in a taxi? I once picked up her cell just to see what time it was and she went berserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and asked why I was checking up on her. Anyway, I have never breached the subject with her. I think deep down I didn't want to know the truth but last night again she went out and I decided to really check in on her. I decided that I was going to park the T next to the garage and hide behind it so I could get a good view of the whole street when she comes home. It was at that moment crouching behind my car, that I noticed the trans sump leaking a little oil. Is this something that I can fix myself or should I take it to the dealer?

Well as it was a nice day 03blueprintxr6t decided to have a fordxr6turbo.com southern cruise... Seeing as we were the only ones who knew about it, it was only 2 cars, but cant argue with 100% turnout! Met up in Ettric, cruised through to Queenstown. Got this cool photo on Coronet Peak of Reeces car (sorry to steal your thunder, but I did take it )

not alot... its the road to the skifield... so in summer only the odd paraglider pilot driving up... obviously in winter its a busy road, but you wouldnt wanna drive a T up there at all, let alone fast

yea the last one is my fave... took them all and as I was driving back down past that 15km bend ahead sign, thought ooo this would make a good foto.... chucked it in R and pulled back... jumped out of car and took it... funny how spur of the moment quick one turned out the best, well in my opinion anyway

Went for a drive up coronet peak (a mountain near my house) and took some photos of the t and surroundings... think they came out pretty well, although I have reduced the size to post them and couldn't use photoshop so quality not so good. but you get the idea ... anyway

Its about half a tank each way... approx 30 litres one way so at price of fuel at the mo that's like 110 return.

Picked it up now... looks even better in the flesh than photos... well to me anyway. I love it... best car ive ever driven let alone owned... mmmmm

Queenstown = cool air + twisty roads = good fun in a turbo car :D but it also equals icy, snowy roads in winter so not so fun for a rwd, but hey that's what traction controls for ay And its already got tints as dark as we are allowed here... stupid laws.. although Cats arent a requirement here so might have to remove it (if itll make much difference)

All I could find was green and purple ts with that spec (no offence to any owners jusy not my idea of color choice). Until I found this and had to have it.

Hey all... Ive been on these forums for a long time but never posted much. Just bought myself a late 04 XR6T with lux pack and 19s. Wanted a T since they first came out (as can be seen by my join date lol) and now that Ive just rated as an Air traffic controller at Queenstown airport in little old NZ I figured I owed myself the fufilment of my 5 year dream. Upgrading from a 97 2.2l legacy (liberty for the aussies) station wagon so should be quite fun to start with! Heres some pics: I pick it up on Saturday... the wait is killing me!

thanks for the info... im pretty sure all nz xr6t's have premium sound as standard... only the xt's have the b and w screen. so basically I want one with climate control, and yeah it seems climate and manual dont mix... sigh

I'm looking at buying a MkII turbo 6 speed manual. The only problem is I want the nice ICC, like the one in the right of the picture. Ive been looking for a while and it seems so far only the autos have this ICC. Does anyone know if this is the case?? Im in NZ if that makes any difference...

you got it all wrong mate... new zealand is the best place!!! we get all the worlds good cars, and altho our govt is heading that way, its not totally anti car yet.

to make a new gtho uve gotta look at the last of them. heres wat I think. phase 3 has 4doors... so should ba. must be a v8... and I dont see why it couldnt be NA... not that hard to get 400kW outa 5.4l with some proper development. and with vvt tech and mpfi theres no need 4 a really lumpy idle. must have twin exhausts. ba supercar style bodykit without the disgusting rear wing they have... gt style wing looks good. either xb style scoops or a engine mounted scoop in place of the bulge. leave the interior fairmont/xr6t spec.. if im spending 100g+ on a car I want a STEREO and leccy windows. lose some weight with lightweight panels/ wheels / and sound deadening(cos u want to hear the beautiful v8) and u got urself a real hsv killer and a worthy successor.
