grip should get better, my ute was hopeless in the wet at first. yesterday in the rain with 3600ks on the clock I had to really push it for traction control to come on.

Done about 3800k now, its got that real deep turbo noise but something that doesnt sound like its choking is what im after.

Someone else on here removed the centre muffler and said it didnt make too much extra noise. I'm really after more of a growl, while still retainging the stock exhaust to put back on when need be.

yeah I could, got all the pipe benders etc to do it, just hoped to retain the standard system as well. Rang humex today they said around four weeks and they should have something for the FG.

Hey guys just wondering what exhaust system is reccomended for more noise, not really looking for extra performance at this stage as I live too far away from a dyno to get a tune. So prob just a cat back system. Does anyone know for sure if a BA/BF ute exhaust fits an FG?

Hey guys, I fell in love at first site with these wheels... Does anyone know what tyres should be fitted to 20x8.5 fronts and 20x10 rears? Only problem is I would have to sell/trade my FG Luxury pack 19's. What would the 19's be worth with the four Dunlop Sports Maxx that have done 3600ks?

I fitted a EGR hardcover to an FG XR6 last week and was very impressed with the way it fitted. Much better than previous ones I've fitted. Wasnt planing on putting a hardcover on my FG T but I think I have changed mind, just gotta part with the coins.

Brave? Must be atleast as good or a lot better than the original, plenty of noise too. Unless you are running considerably more boost than standard I cant see any problems with the Dual Port Size. Wouldnt mind mounting it more out of the road when I get time to have a play with it.

The reception is still crap. The look of the aerial doesnt bother me though. Too many other things to take my attention away.

Done 1200ks in less than a week. Its just so good to drive, both slow and hard, I never want to get out. Ran out of places to drive to now though.

The sound is pretty loud, I thought being a dual port it might be a fair bit quieter than what it is. I have the 6speed auto too so I have to make it blow off which is good as you can just cruise around without making any noise.

Ordered yesterday, delivered today, fitted in under a minute. Really easy to fit on the FG, and sounds awesome. Will post up some pics prob on Sat.

Got a good deal on the Kompact Dual port through one of our suppliers at work so kept it local. Thanks for all the replies and links etc. Will post some pics as soon as its fitted.

Picked up Fg XR6T on monday. Heres a few pics off my phone.. Dont worry about the rear arches or the aerial guys. There is way to many other good things to take your attention away from them.

Picked up FG XR6T ute today, on the 150k trip home the Inst fuel ranged from 9-9.5L/100 at 110kph. Pretty happy with that for a car with 0ks on it. Push the pedal down and gets over 30L/100 pretty quick.

Looking at getting a Turbosmart Kompact BOV and wondering where is the best place to get them from. Also should I go for Dual Port or Supersonic for an FG XR6T with Auto. Opinions...
