I'm getting conflicting advise as to the status of my car, early this week it was sposed to be at final then today I'm told it's at metal finish. So I rang 13 FORD and they wouldn't supply me a date and just transferred me back to the dealer????? Any chance someone could have a look; SIDO 336489. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Guys I know I'm a newbie to the site but my source is reliable, senior person at a tier one supplier which I've known for many years. I'll let it go now and just wait till the beast arrives

I've had my FG on order for a while and the continual delays have been driving me crazy. We are a tier 2 supplier to Ford and after a lot of ringing around have managed to get some truth. Currently they have a swag of cars finished sitting at status final but were holding them back. This was due to a problem with a turbo return hose. Apparently this has been rectified and have just started to release cars.
