I bought my XR6 Turbo from a dealer and they said its got 12 months left of warranty, does that mean ANYTHING that goes wrong they fix for free or what?

does that mean my power steering pump is on its way out also :(

just curious as to whether anyone knows what a Standard BF XR6 Turbo 2005 model would do on a quarter mile?

there is also a noise when I am not moving and I turn the steering wheel all the way to the right, but not all the time only sometimes...

was there any unusual noises before you took it in or anything?

I am not to sure to be honest, its just like a little click when I take off, when I am driving its fine, just the taking off part, I think its coming from somewhere on the frame, not engine or anything...

hey, I dont know whether its something to worry about but when I take off early in the morning there is like a little click coming from under the car, nothing big or anything but I can hear it, do you think its anything to worry about, happens usually when I just take off. Shall I get it looked at or wait for it to get a little worse, I dont really want to take it back and say its making noises and then they dont notice it, cause I will feel like an idiot, any opinions???

Yeah mate I would suggest going to a dealer, I bought my XR6 Turbo from a dealer and came with 12 months warranty which covers EVERYTHING and another 5 years after that where they will cover the first $1000. I would recommend dealer

bought mine with 36,216km on it and I have had it for a week and now have 37,300km I think

can anyone tell me what the pinging sounds like? my car seems to make a noise but dont know whether its pinging.

so what actually happens when it over boosts, with my old car, the whole engine would cut out and kick you back, what happens?

what do you mean by tapering off a little? you mean kicking back and not giving me as much power?

are you able to guarantee that, I dont plan on putting any mods on it, I just dont want it to kick back because of overboost.

ok, well mine is stock, so will it develop overboost just being stock, I just want to be able to put the foot down flat and not be held back by the overboost cut off?

ok next question, lol, is there a certain boost cut off for them? or do they just keep boosting? I once had a car that would have an alarm when you over boosted.

Hey I am currently in the process of purchasing a 2005 Model XR6 Turbo BF, I was wondering if there is a speed limiter or a boost cut off at any point or what the go is? anyone know? Thanks Troy
