  1. Hi All, So I was driving on an err... private strip today and I noticed that once I get over 120-130 km/m the end of my bonnet panel closest to my windscreen jumps around like a hooker on speed. To be more specific it wobbles up and done +/- 10mm from where it normally sits. Whats worse as when I get to this speed and the bonnet starts pulling wobblies it's flicking air up into a rubber or something that makes a really annoying noise. Does anybody else have this problem or should I check that all the welds under my bonnet are still good?
  2. I like to go for a drive around the lapping track in Rocky on Thursday night's now and then, not sure if any one else from these forums goes out on this night due to the amount of retards that are out the same time but I like to just cruise around and have a gander at what some of the other cars getting around. If any ones interested I wouldn't mind meeting some of the other xr6turbo.com members from the area and having a look at what they've done to their T's for inspiration :D There's also quite a few Commowhore's getting around that might need to be put in their place given the change I'll be getting around in my Bionic Blue BF XR6T Sedan for a few hours after 8pm, but you can send me a text on 0401976982 if you'd like to have a meet and block the lanes from some sh*tty VL's.
  3. Thanks man, also if I could add onto my Q list, I have an Auto and I understand that will just make the atmo sound a bit shorter compared to a manual which is coming off the throttle a lot harder between shifts, correct?
  4. I'm looking at one of these BOV's myself, mind if I ask a few Q's? -How Much? -Where from? -Self Installed? -Size (20mm or 25mm outlet? Is this referring to the size of the atmospheric port?) -Any attention from the cops? -Does it make a significant sound with stock boost? Thanks,

    Noisey Brake

My rig's doing this as well, like you said if you brake hard enough it's not there and if you brake light enough it doesn't make a sound either, there seems to be an (un-)sweet spot where it happens. Would love to hear how to get rid of this, I've heard squeeky brakes are kinda common among fords.

Hi all I'm just new to this sight and I live in a small town called Cawarral that's in between Rockhampton and Yeppoon. However I work and hang out in rocky so I've put it as my location . I'd love to go on a cruise with some other T's, I'll keep an eye on this thread. High PSI, Is your number plate a black custom plate that says HI PSI? I've seen your car driving around rocky a few times when I lived in the Glenmore area sharing with some housemates (till one of them bailed so I had to move back out to Cawarral with my parents :( ) 12fear I haven't seen your ute around but my Girlfriend says she has, I work and play on northside, where abouts are you?

    Hi All

thanks for the warm welcome everyone, and yes I've noticed more and more T's getting around up here but it's probably just because I've got a keener eye for them. And some pics are attached :D , I paid 30,9900 for it through a dealer in sunny coast, previous owner was the Queensland Police Service (well the family services department anyway ) So I'm pretty confident it hasn't been thrashed. Had 64,000 on the clock. First modifications I want to do are more show pony sort of things, -dark window tint -better exhaust (or at least remove the centre muffler) -dual port BOV -big bad ass looking Intercooler -black and chrome 20's. And then eventually an ECU tune to get some extra PSI, and then maybe I'll go all out with replacement valve springs and high flow injectors. So yeah I've already done a fair bit of reading but theres plenty more to be done!

    Hi All

Hi All, Just joined up this week, I bought my BF XR6T about a month ago and I'm starting to look at doing some modifications and found this place, looks like a really great thing you've got going on here and I can't wait to be a part of it. See you in the fourms
