    both of mine have had this issue at various times recently, my neighbour works at ford service and gave me a few bottles of engine oil flush and told me to flush and change the oil because the vct solonoid gums up and causes this condition.

    Did you experience any vibration after replacing your clutch? I was informed today that I should machine the flywheel with the flex plate attatched. I did not have time to go home and get the flex plate, so I had it machined on it's own. Fingers crossed!

    Watch out for imitation especially Walbro - you can sometimes pick up the Denso cheap on Ebay - I got mine for $165 check out this story on fakies- http://www.evocoupe.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2768
