Hi ppl, I had to have my car jump started by RAC last nite as it just wouldn't start at a shopping centre car park. So I got my car back home and left it as is planning to get a replacement battery on Monday first thing. However this morning when I went into my garage I could hear a whiny noise from under my car's bonnet. When I popped the hood I could hear that it was definitely coming from the engine fuse box. Also there was a sulfurus smell like rotten eggs and whiffs of white smoke coming from the battery. So I disconnected the negative terminal and the noise and smoke stopped. Is this normal for when a battery dies or do I have some electrical probs causing this??
