Youve still missed the point! 750nm's, are we on the same planet!!!! eg AMG SL55 368kw/700nm @ flywheel!!! for a 1965kg car that equates to a 0 to 100 of 4.76 sec's and a 400m of 12.80. Yes I love the XRTurbo, but 750nm's, AT THE WHEELS!!!???? Also ktford, I'm not sure what a "Flopper" is, but if its anything like a "Slapper", then I take your "Flopper" and raise you a "Dufus". Ok then, seeing as some of you missed the point, I would like to see the car with, I think it was about 276rwkw & 750nm of torque!!! Forgive me for thinking that these two figures belong anywhere near each other. Also Turbo6man, this person I was talking to is well versed in Dyno tuning and construction of a very high profile product, I think politic's is the last thing on his mind

Looking at some of these RWKW & RWHP figures I see an additional NM figure, I was lead to belive by a Dyno manufacturer that its not possible to gain an accurate torque figure at the wheels. Anyone??

Hey Turbo6man, I once had a XH ute also and guess what!, you couldnt close the doors with the car on a two post hoist! and that was at the Ford dealers workshop. Australian cars are built to a price, which is what we are willing to pay for them, having said that I dont think Australians will ever build ten year cars like the Euro's, Merc, BMW etc. Do I have to remind you again? Dont be blinded by the Blue light!

What I was refering to was how lame MKII sounds in 2004, what happened to Series II, MK II sounds like they got it wrong the first time. Nothing against you guys with a love for the Cortina's or Escort's either. If you compare the Series II upgrade on the AU it was quite substantial by comparison, lets not be blinded by the Blue light here, if they want to stay on the up they needed to do better than this! Its nice to fantasize about Australian cars having better build quality with evolution, but my Series III Ute doors close about as well as my 1969 Datsun 1600!!

Sorry to make this my first post in quite a while, but, BA MK II !!!??? What the hell were they thinking! Not only that but all they offer up is a gearbox upgrade, substantial sure, Auto headlight's, wooooowoooo, and some different alloy's. I would be quite dissapointed if I had waited for this second coming, unless all I wanted was a Gearbox upgrade.

Currently run Dunlop FM 901's, wouldnt pi55 on Bridgestones or Goodyears, any Ideas? Wondered what 3000e's are like?

When I dropped my AUXR in for service and got a BA for the first time the first thing I noticed was the gauges were small and hard to read at a glance, which is all it should take! Having said that I do like the look of the cluster but SS's is easier to read at a glance! :banghead:

Well guys its time to put the BS to rest. This weekend at the PROCAR Champ Series at Phillip Island a Ford XR6T will make its debut in the APCC(Australian Performance Car Championship. Hey guys, its not only Ford that do stuff like this, How pissed off would you have been, if you were a Expensive Daewoo Fan and purchased the last of the stroked 5.7 Expensive Daewoo V8 GTS @220kw, $85,000, only to be blown off by the 5.7 GenIII SS @225kw, $40,000, and that wasnt even a body upgrade, that was only series1 to series 2. that's when Ford should have hit them where it hurts, cause there would have been alot of very pissed HSV owners. Ive seen the Stroked GTS's for sale in Unique Cars and they cant give em away!!

Just curious as to how much your dealer delivery fee was, and was it worth it???

Hoinville and Williams finished 10th in the Modern class in one of the Blueprint XR6T's, Taylor and Humphrey finished 67th in the other, not bad considering the gaggle of hi-po machinery after them!!! Also the cars were prepped by Herrod Motorsport and the word from them is Stock as a Rock except for Saftey gear, cage, harnesses etc. WOOHOO!!!
