Here are some suggestions for the Brisbane Gold Coast Get together. Please select your preference, but rmember we are not restricted to one event.

I am talking to a Ford Dealer about a service night where we can come and ask quesitons and get a tour of how are cars are serviced.

Cruise then Dyno Day at DynoSteve's...

It might give us more time to organise things with Steve so it can turn out to be a really big event. Main reason is that money raised for the Dyno Day will be injected back into theFordXr6Turbo.com site, I would like to add that it's a generous decision on Steve's behalf. Some of us may want to put some funds aside, say a BBQ or saussage sizzle or something to feed the hordes. Also my car may be a little more worthy of a dyno test in a month or so.

I really don't care what you all decide, the past 3 events have been great days out. All that have been involved have turned out to be a wonderful group of people and I hope these events continue to go on for a long time.

Well let's make it easy.

Date - Sunday 28th Sept.

There we go. Now we have a date.

At the very least we can all get together and go for a cruise, talk some crap, annoy some locals.

I know a great bit of road from from Goldie to Muwillumbah through the hinterland. MMMMM twisty roads......

We then find a country pub and all head in for steak sangas and a few drinks...

At least we be dowin stuff in between getting a big cruise day organised.

My XR is going into KN Body Works on Wednesday to get the door damage repaired, $300.00 so I'm happy with that. Booking into Redcliffe Dyno & Performance the next week or following week for Steve to work his magic on the "Phantom". Hopefully it will be done before the cruise so I can at least keep up with "BARA"...lol. The rest of you turbo guys, hmmm, I'll have to wait for "Phase II"......Supercharging......oh well.

HocuSChrisT, I'm sure we can arrange a get-together of some sort around XMAS. What about a cruise/BBQ down the coast followed by a "Return of the King" Gold Class adventure or something :lol:

I know I'll probably be at the Regency (Harbourtown) on "Boxing day", we always book out the entire cinema with my mates down the coast, have done so for "Fellowship" & "Two Towers".

I saw TT last year in Brissy, and I might be up that way again this year. The cinema was awesome, Elfs and Hobbits everywhere ... what a hoot!

I'll keep an eye on this thread, if you guys do organise something, or maybe the Sydney guys might want to do something as well?
