Please keep this thread alive. As these problems happen to other people in the future, its easier for them to search through and find the same problems, the resolutions we come up with and everyones advice....----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------We have another step to add to the thread...Car went back on a dyno to help problem solve. No changes to the car since this tune:All of a sudden as I experienced at the drags its down on power etc...This is current dyno print out...as you can see there is a problem with the boost curve. Most seem to agree that this is most likely an issue with turbo or manifold bolts missing or loose. One or two have recomended new actuator. Will update soon as we will be checking the bolts soon...Incase anyone wishes to read back with the previous findings etc etc etc...from when this problem started.http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=30497michael

Posted 05/12/06 01:52 AM Posted 05/12/06 01:52 AM If you take the rear exhaust heat shield of you can see all the turbo and most exhaust bolts to see if any are loose should take no more than 1/2 an hour tops to do this.Ian

Adam Here since the start... I'd just like to know how it all works.

I thought I could hear it in raphs but everyone else said they could not...killa... that's hardware related for sure... can you get to the heat shield yourself?? or you getting someone else to do it?

Ive had them slowly bend on previous cars resulting in slack boost. What about cleaning the boost solenoid? Checked all your vac lines, maybe ones bent or cracked/leaking?CAn they reflash the same tune back into your capa box?Could disconect the accuator at the w'gate and run it up on their dyno to see if that boost issue is software related... with no ebc influencing the turbo it should spool straight up ( just a quick jab, not a 30psi run lol )
