Hey guys I just has a question about installing a turbo side air intake was looking at getting an antz brand , with the battery relocation but it says it doesn't work with the factory intercooler pipping,  what would I need to change to fix that ? Is there a kit that I can buy to change the pipe arrangement than to fit the turbo side air intake on cheers

Would I also need a tune .

Thanks I'm advance

Yes, you'll need a pipe kit also, as the OEM piping comes back underneath the battery tray and gets in the way of the intake piping that would come from the front of the turbocharger.

So you'll need a piping kit that comes out the passenger side and then into the throttle body... the problem here is most battery-relocations also move the battery into the position the piping kits come out the passenger side, so usually you need one that comes back past the front of the engine to avoid it, like so (this has an intercooler with a passenger side exit as well, unlike the OEM intercooler):

Or a custom piping kit that finds a way through and avoids the new intake/battery locations.

Changing piping kits generally does not need a tune. But you might want one to make the most of the cooler air reaching the engine.

You could contact Process West and ask them to separate out their cold side & a passenger-side-exiting intercooler (or you can buy an intercooler elsewhere) from the "stage 2.1 kit"... I don't know of anybody doing the piping like that anymore... Custom would probably end up cheaper/easier...
