Ha! But both tend towards opposite ends of the political spectrum! Probably not a bad thing if you can elect them together and end up with a balance after thay have thrashed out the issues between themselves!

It's a bit facile, but the truth tends to be somewhere in the middle ground - just my opinion.

Its great that we can still have a little bit of a debate in todays society, as long as Plonkys not running round with Riot Gear and Water Cannons and Im not lobbing Molitov Cocktails we can still say that at least our twisted version of democracy works and is doing far better good than not.

Plus I too can sleep at night knowing at least I don't have a fear of:

Having my entire industry shut down like the Welsh Coal Miners by Margaret Thatchers Economic Rationalisim (Read- Free for all Economy)

Keeping myself in Poverty to pay the Tithe to a church (Read 98% of South America)

Having my home bombed at night by US Bombers destroying civilian areas. (Read Einsenhower's, LBJ's, Nixon's, Regan's, Bush Snr's, Clinton and Bush Jnr's - Arrogant, Corrupt and Insane Regieme's)

Actually, when you think about it, no regime of any persuasion in the history of the civilization can be held up as a shining example of doing the right thing by all people. And I don't think we will see it in the conceivable future. :(
