I know it's a common issue and a pain in the ass to fix for some people. I don't want to take it to a mechanic because they want upwards of $700 to do the job. I am a motorbike mechanic by trade and I do all the work on my car myself. I just want a defiant answer on what is required to be taken off to get the timing cover off. Obviously I know the rocker cover does and a bunch of other things, I just want someone's advice who has done it themselves and what actually has to be taken off. I know what sealant to use and I'll also be replacing the front crank seal, the front sump seal & doing the rocker cover gaskets. I read somewhere you need a pull tool to take one of the pulley's off? any pulley tool or a specific one? Any help would be appreciated. Is a 2010 XR6T SEDAN, SEDUCE.
