Turbo Flutter

Hey guys, so pretty much every time now everything is good until I boost and there's like a whoosh sound and a tiny flutter never happened before only happening just recently, could anyone help please and thanks

My guess for a can of corn and a frisbee is a split throttle body rubber.

thanks for replying and  Ohh but if there was a split wouldn't it cause a boost leak and the engine light come on?

That's your boost leak.

 

The engine light might come on eventually if the leak gets bad enough, but it usually wont to start with.

Ohh okay thank you, I tried to see with a flashlight but I can't seem to find any cracks or nothing

Take it apart for a better look, cooler pipe splits have a habit of hiding well.

 

You could get it pressure smoke tested and that'll show up any leaks straight away.

 

Recirc valve might have lost its boost reference and be opening when it shouldn't.

Should I check all the joiners ? like take em off? Had a mechanic look at it, but he didn't look properly because he said there's no check engine light

Find a mechanic that will properly diagnose it and offer to fix it.
