curious Member 504 Member For: 21y 6m Location: sun, beach and plenty of T T's Posted 12/03/04 07:54 AM Share Posted 12/03/04 07:54 AM I find that after a burst of acceleration and then heavy braking causes it? Heat has never been a factor seeing I live in a climate that rarely goes under 33 and humidity that will melt you away. Posted 12/03/04 10:52 AM Share Posted 12/03/04 10:52 AM I am not totally sure about this but I beleave that it has to do with the way the ecu reads the crank angle sensor which tells the ecu what postion the motor is at.Ian Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/9581-the-stalling-issue-engine-bay-heat-and-the-ecm/page/2/#findComment-100511 Share on other sites
