Share Posted 12/01/20 03:08 AM Posted 12/01/20 03:08 AM Share Okay so I've just finished doing a full xr6 turbo conversion on a xt falcon, change loom ecu, bcm, motor and gearbox oh and I have changed the cluster aswell. Starts fine but when I do start it the gear indicator on the dash flashes and box goes into limp mode so checked for codes and says (P0500 - Vehicle speed sensor malfunction) but im pretty sure the xr6 ecu gets its speed signal/reading from the Wheel Speed sensors, code wont clear. Does anyone know a fix or anything?????
Share Posted 12/01/20 08:20 PM Posted 12/01/20 08:20 PM Share What gearbox is it?Most BA and BF use the wheel speed sensors but early BA some used a speed sensor on the extension housing. No speed sensor/s will upset the ecu, it needs a speed signal.
