February 24, 200422 yr #31 That Greg is absolutely wonderful mate! Good to hear, just let me know what car so I can get you on the listAs for you Pete, sorry mate, your Phase IV wont stand a chance against some of the quicker LS1 powered cars that will be there. Still you will beat a lot of the stock SS and HSV cars though. Got to be happy with thatHA You might find it funny - HA - but their should be at least one 8 second LS1 debuting at the event. So HA HA HA!
February 24, 200422 yr #32 So Pete, any chance of you laying down some money against the Nizpro car at the drag nationals? Or maybe APS might like to sponsor an XR6T bracket? I really think the name calling needs to stop, and the ante upped! Lets goEdit: Actually the sponsorship offer is open to Nizpro as well, first in best dressed. Sorry for that oversight with Nizpro....Im not a forum...... Edited February 24, 200422 yr by Street Tuner
February 24, 200422 yr #33 Contrary to popular belief, being a Nizpro dealer doesn't mean they have our blessing to slag opposition. As a matter of fact, it wasn't until Edo had something like 20 or more posts that I became aware who was behind the name.In turn, those who for good reason may have concluded that it was planned on Nizpro's part, are entirely wrong.Further to this, irrespective of my not being aware of the situation at the outset, in deed for approximately a month (I was only informed early last week) my apologies to all concerned. Thanks for that input Greg, though if you new about this deceptive and misleading conduct last week, why did you not act sooner to rectify this appalling behaviour of your Nizpro dealer. :( Not good enough and I dont accept this explanation.PeterAPS Peter. It's sad that you are not gracious enough to accept what was a public apology.Over the past week I haven't spent very much time at all on the forum (note that my last post was on the 16th) and to be completely frank, I can't remember exactly when I realised who Edo was (could have been Monday or Tuesday, whatever), and with work commitments that as you well know extend vastly further than Nizpro, to monitor everything that goes on simply isn't possible.I have not spoken with EDO yet, but I will shortly, hence if it is at all possible I would like to end this here for the simple reason that I don't believe it does the forum any good at all. That said, transparency is obviously needed, and it would be great if it was possible to 'police' signatures. Let's leave this alone and move on to what we all do best: Making good product for the XR8 Turbo.Greg Brindley.Nizpro.

February 24, 200422 yr #35 Peter, come now. You of course know that when it comes to typos that journalists are the worst Greg Brindley.Nizpro.
February 24, 200422 yr #37 Good to see everyone happy again , now lets get down to giving those LS1s a good run guys.
February 24, 200422 yr #38 Sad, none of the big players here wants to sponsor an XR6 bracket. Typical of the Ford enthusiasts though isnt it!
February 24, 200422 yr #39 Give it time young Martin. It would be a little silly if we couldn't make the event at all and was a sponsor. So let's just see in the next 2 weeks how we are faring, and take it from there. That said, stay on my case as I've a poor memory.Greg Brindley.Nizpro.

Sorry for that oversight with Nizpro....Im not a forum......Well Martin I would be prepared to though only if you do also, that is put your money where your mouth is and I will match it. What about if you put up say 5K for the winner and 2.5K for second, nothing would give me more pleasure than spending some of your hard earned money. PeterAPS Edited February 25, 200422 yr by aps
