I just got a stock 03 ba turbo and wondering what kind of power you running through them? im prepared to install a good cooler for it. just a general question. is it a hit and miss thing? im thinking of going 300kw but after searching I see people mentioning to go less power?

The ZF can handle that power for a fair while but will still need a rebuild over time.

The BTR though from memory is only good for like 250rwkw unless it's modified, could be a bit more but I'm sure after 270 or 280 it's definitely not happy?

My stocky lasted like 30,000kms....80 passes at track for a best of 10.99 at 129mph.

Stock converter also.

Tune is important for the trans even with a BTR.

In the end I only broke the sprag which is something not normally to break in a BTR.

That's awesome news for OP. It wasn't the case as far as I knew, nice one.

Enough for a ten so gotta be more than 350rwkw? At least 370rwkw? Which is great for the street, hard to put that sort of power down reliably without decent tyres though. Power figures are difficult to compare directly too, but you can get an idea at least.

It was 17psi of boost through a GTX power on dyno was 390rwkw mph suggested it was about right.
