Boot release

Yeah, a real b**ch that, in the old EL all you had to do was fill your boot up with the stuff the garbage collection rejected, find a quiet road in the middle of the night and drive down it at an average speed of 117 kph and hit the boot release............ the low pressure area directly behind the car at this speed helps draw the items out of the boot and away from the car so you don't scratch it! :banghead:

littering can attract a $200 on the spot fine and is also bad for the environment.

Yet having your girlfriend climb out the window of a moving vehicle is perfectly acceptable behaviour to you.....

The panic button alarm on the keyring doesnt work whilst your driving either, though it might move some slow p%^&ks outta the fast lane :-)

Nothing on the keypad will work when the key is turned past the "I" position. :banghead:

And how the car beeps at ya, if ya open any door while driving!! :)

...And how the car runs off the road if you fall asleep at the wheel?

Sorry... the point of this thread is? Ahhh forget it. Reminds me of the story about the guy who sued the manufacturer of his Winnebago (mobile home) because it crashed when he set it to cruise control. Best part was that he was suing because the manual didn't warn him that he shouldn't set cruise on it and go out back to make coffee... which is what he did. Only in America...

...which reminds me.

If you apply the hand brake it turns the cruise control off.

I was driving along with the cruise set at 80, gently pulled the handbrake so that the dash light came on, but not actually appling the brakes and the cruise turned as the dash went beep beep beep.

BTW did you know that the TICK TOK sound of the indicators is actually computer generated by the BEM (Im guessing).

If for example you drive out of a carpark with your seat belt off. Put your 'winky' on to turn the corner and as you sit waiting for a gap in the traffic the car goes tik tok tik tok...then the tik tok stops and then go's bing bing bing (for the seat belt) then go's tik tok again.....a weird effect.
