Hi guys I'm about to done a turbo conversion for a mate. His got a ba xr6 and has bought everything from a wrecker for a good price.

He bought whole complete xr6 turbo motor with all piping, auto, wiring loom and computer

Also has all brakes, tail shaft and rear cradle.

So my question is has anyone done this conversion.

Is it just remove everything and replace it with the turbo motor etc and is it all plug and play and will it start with the turbo computer.

Any info would be great for the ppl that done this conversion.

I am still doing my v8 to turbo 6 conversion .yes it is all plug and play but its not that easy .if you would like you can phone me I am more than willing to give advise .there are lots of hidden things to look out for like speedo readings tailshafts etc . take a look at my thread (under 327 xt one tonne ute ) in the 300 kw club
