Hey guys,

I just picked up my first XR6T but it needs some work. Its only got 55,000 kms and its stock as a rock (apart from the flashy wheels). 6 speed manual, perfect interior, perfect motor, only problem is the doors/front guard.

I also have a 62 beetle with a worked 2L motor, goes like a bloody rocket!

And my quickest toy is a 06 GSXR 1000, custom paint, full yoshi, K&N filter, this one has never seen tail lights. Ive even raced BMW's new SL1000RR and beat that

Plans for the XR6 is only very minor ones, valve springs, flash tune, exhaust, intake, intercooler. Nothing major as I wanted to keep it nice and safe :imsohappy:

I reckon a new front door would be easiest, I don't even know if you could panel beat it but I don't think it would be worth the effort. Any reason you chose one with damage rather than a pristine example.

It needs two doors, a sill cut and a new front guard. Ive got a doner car for the sill cut just need to chase down doors and a guard, that wont be hard though. I chose this one mainly because of the low kms, its got a full log book history and I got it really cheap. If I could afford to get a pristine one with performance mods already done I would of but money is tight as the beetle and the GSXR take most of my spare $$$
