lukebaker99 Member 26 Member For: 14y 1m 24d Gender: Male Location: penrith Posted 15/07/13 02:08 AM Posted 15/07/13 02:08 AM hi all,currently have my g6et in at ford for a major drive line back lash issue..I am aware about diff bush issues and have replaced all bushs with super pro bushs..even on light acceleration backing on and off drive line feels like it is about to fall out.. have had tail shaft off car and feels as though there is excesive back lash in the rear of the boxford are saying that they have to replace super pro bushs with ford bush's before they can diagnose the issueall at my cost!!! they seem to think its all due to the super pro bushs having no give in them, I am aware of this but this clunk back lash noise is extremely excessive, wondering if anyone else has had an issue like this..need to get this sorted before warranty runs out in 2 monthscheers luke

I think it is due to slack in the driveshaft, although sometimes I also think it is coming from the flywheel.Ford teels me there is no problem, and it is normal for the car.The centre diff bush was cracked, so replaced all the diff bushes with SuperPro's. Made the sound several notes lower, and a little louder!

I hope it is alot more then normal or else I am goin to feel like a bit of a twat haha.. surely it canot be amplifying the this much just due to the after market bushs.. will compair to a bf mkll tonight and see if there is noticable difference then may take it to a dealer that will listen to what I have to say maybe.. if there is any out there

I also got it checked and the found no issue. I even spent an hour underneath it at home and every factory bush looked fine. So am assuming its normal two part tail shaft behaviour.
