you blokes are gonna love this there is a possible 5 factory t's with 300kw a good mate told me this, his dads mate owns a T a has said to have been contacted about this by ford he claims, love to see how the transmission holds up if its a manual

In my uninformed opinion, there were test cars and there were test cars but I'm sure none would ever make it into a production version EVEN by accident on purpose. Test cars are just that!

I read in Motor or Wheels that FMC had half secretly run a modified T in tha 02 targa tassi. The article said it went real quick then the water pump stuffed up and the car cooked. Rumour had it that it was an experiment for the 280kW job that will APPARENTLY be released with the series two. I HOPE SO

I believe this to be the case & that power levels that are being talked of are 280-300kw. The Targa car had a bigger intercooler, what else it had different I don't know.

I don't belive him either, he claims that he has beaten every other T he has gone against at the lights but it still sounds like like BS to me just though that at the small possibility of this being true you guys would be interisted..... looks like you have confused me again you judging bunch :lol:

Look, thanks for the post matey. We all like to have a quick scoff every now and then but, if people didn't post up what they see or hear, we'd miss out on all the sneak peeks of test cars and then, it wouldn't be much of a forum would it!!!!

I actually got a look at the developement vehicle they were using for testing before fitting the extra bits for the targa cars.The figures they reckon it had were nothing like that.
