Hey guys

So I bought a new car traded the Ford focus Xr5 as I wanted something bigger with more power and have always wanted an xr6 Turbo ute when one came up at a good price at the local detail and the timing was perfect it was hard to say no.

So here it is my 2012 Black FG Mk2 Xr6 Turbo Ute with Red leather interior.

First Thing I did was put a set of 20s on look around for a while and ended up getting a set of Koya CEO 20x10 on the rear and 20x8.5 on the front with some deep dish.

Next I will start working on the stereo List of gear I will be using is below I also want to get a hard Lid and Lower it.

I will update this thread as I go and add any tips or tricks or problems I find along the way and let you guys know

Source:Alpine H800 with the Rux and will add a D800 Dvd headunit down the track

Front Amp:2x Alpine PDX F6 so I can run full Active front End

Very nice! You obviously like your music as you have dropped some serious dollars on some very good quality gear. Keep posted with updates :-)

^^ yes you have! Don't set in stone where you put the speakers, you want the sound staging to be perfect. I dont know how much your into stereos but as a base have opposing tweeters facing opposite people and keep all your speakers close together as possible. You want t sound projected to you from the windscreen like a concert

Hey guy

So I spent all of yestoday working on my car got all the cables run the amps mounting and the front speakers installed and the front doors got a layer of dynamat inside and out the biggest pain in the ass was getting the speaker cables up to the pillars and into the doors.

I am tring to find where to speaker in the H800 to the factory ICC speaker cables I want to get them as close to the ICC as I can but can not find a wiring diagam so if anyone could help that would be great

Here is a quick pic of the dynamat treat and I will get some more pics up soon

With a saw? Drop it down to get a line started then use a jigsaw for the rest :/

Looking good though. Dimensions of the box? You manage to get the recommended air volume in the box or sacrifice a little so it'd fit back there?
