hello all ive got a fg xr6turbo and im starting to buy parts to do her up probly to 300 330 rwkw

planing to do the intake intercooler dump cat remove center muffler injectors and tune..

ive been looking at the rapid systems turbo side intake and battery relocation which I no is good but ive come across the hdi intercooler kits and im tempted to get it insted and just put a k&n filter the hdi kits are 900 but and the turbo side intake and battery relocation is 500 +300 I think + I think ill need to do the hotside pipe , my thinking is that im not shooting for big big power , hdi kit should be good enough

what do u guys think

go the cooler and panel filter!

It should be good enough but a pw or plazmaman will always win over a hdi. Relocate the battery to the boot youself its very easy and works well with a good dry cell battery and is also a good way to save some dollars which you can put towards a full cooler/intake kit from rapid/pw/plaz

battery to the boot? y not just make up a mounting bracket for the engine :s
