It shouldn't drain no , no idea what it draws when sitting their either, would be better if they just have u separate coloured LEDs that's screw in like the old days then it doesn't need a constant 12 volts just a switched but whatever saas and drift are made in the same factory and been around awhile so shouldn't have any problems with battery drain and haven't seen any issues related to gauges draining the battery etc

Yeah mine sat there a month the misses forgot to start it so I don't know but it's fixed now found the wire I needed and working like a gem

Off the top of my head, one of the ICC plugs has a yellow wire being constant 12v+ and a black being the earth wire which you can tap into. And the cig lighter/power source can be used as the dash light sense (think its the blue with white stripe side).

just thought I would throw up an update. got the test light out and checked for constant and wired it up and they now change colour and keep memory..so a quick thank you to all
