Hey,I'm looking at getting my bf xr6t tuned soon, probably looking at the following mods

* typhoon cooler

* typhoon air box

* injectors.

This is where I am stuck. I would like to get as close to 300kw as possible but am unsure of what injectors to run. Eventually I may want a 98 tune and e85 tune but for now a 98 will do. What injectors should I get keeping in mind I don't wanna spend a fortune. Was looking at the ID's but to pricey for what I want.

Yeh as bionic said, and if you read through some 300-350rwkw builds there's heaps that run them!

Next question where's the best place to get these from?

I want to get as close to 300 as possible. I've been told 280kw should be achievable with these mods. So if it goes somewhere from 280-300 I'm stoked.

Your cat will be your biggest restriction, your cooler will probably suffer from heatsoak.

Do both of these and you will exceed 300 easily, don't do these and you will probably struggle for 280 reliably.

Ask your tuner, their prices are pretty standard. Your looking at around 400ish from places like RAPID. And get them to put them in just before it's tuned... DONT drive with new injectors untuned!

What are the pwr intercoolers like? I dont want to change to pipes as I want it looking standard. Or what cooler do you suggest.

I'll probably have to do it in stages as its out of my budget to get the cat and better cooler. Unless its a pwr as I can get my hands on one.

The PWR will be ok. You can pick up a cat for 200 bucks dude so just wait and save. That will be ok.

if your going for 280-300kw I would be doing your pipes as they do have a tendency to burst. usually people would replace pipes before replacing the intercooler. if you can afford it do both :)
