Haydo83 Member 17 Member For: 14y 3m 7d Gender: Male Location: Newcastle NSW Posted 28/09/12 05:27 AM Posted 28/09/12 05:27 AM My car ever sinec changing the wastegate actuator has lost allot of power,mostly down low but on idle in gear (its a auto) has started making ticking noises from around the dump/cat area.cant pin point it but did undo a bolt on the dump pipe/turbo housing accidently then did it back up.Would I get a simple leak from that?

Screw the actuator arm in until it is half a hole short of slipping over the flapper arm then pull on the actuator (or use compressed air if available) to get it onto the arm.I'd also put my money on this causing the 'ticking' noise that you're describing.
