G'day guys and girls.

A quick question . have been talking to a tuner about injectors and they have told me that when you bring your car in for a tune and need new injectors installed that they use your own and modify them buy drilling them so they can handle the increased fuel flow . This job done from start to finish was $830 . Is that expensive ? or am I better of getting a whole new set for that price ?

The only time I'd get my injectors drilled is if it were cheaper than buying new ones and at that price I'd definitely be buying new.

to drill injectors most places charge $100-$150, even at that price I would look at buying new ones anyway for around $400

Might be a sign to visit another tuner for another quote?

My tuner charged $130 to remove standard injectors and fit 40lbs!

Brand new 40lbs can be sourced for $350 NEW

Best to grab new ones and go from there.
