So, I live in brisbane and we've had all this rain. Anyways, that's just something I thought I might add.

So to the point, I was driving down the road about 3 minutes after I unlocked the car, and the door open light comes on then goes off, about 5 seconds later it comes on and goes off again. then flashes a few times, and now it's constantly on.

So Now I cant lock the car because the thing thinks its door is open, when everything is closed. It's not the boot because the interior light come on when it did it. Pretty sure its the passenger door, as when I'm driving open any other of the 3 doors, the car beeps at me except with that 1 door...

So I need your wisdom! What is it, how can I fix it and how much is it going to cost ??

Thanks guys!

Many people have had this issue. I think the way to find it is unplug each door one at a time and try locking the car till it locks properly when the buggered one is unplugged. Could be wrong on the way to figure it out but it is something like that. have a search of the forum.

Can someone tell me where the BCM is? A lot of people have replaced that with the same problem as mine and it's fixed it.

Can I use a N/A bcm on my T ? I'll get one from the wreckers.

Oh and the interior light doesn't come on with the 2 left passenger doors but It does with the 2 right ones. Even though the door light is still on

try this before worrying about bcm I think that's a big step for something that could be a small issue. Interior light not coming on with passenger doors but drivers side doors, sounds like u have a bit if a wiring problem check all plugs for doors etc

I had this issue recently ute and from my reading it is more likely a door actuator then the bcm, from my reading threads from this site and other their didnt seem to be a method to test it although above unplugging each door might be an option I didnt read that anywhere.

Mine fixed itself after 2 days of not being able to lock it the day it was to go into ford !! so I would say it was water related probably in the door looms / plugs ford checked it over run whatever program thing they have and found it to be fault free of course.

I would just bite the bullet mate and take it to ford and get them to fit some new parts cars worthless if you carnt drive it.

It's fixed itself now. Must of been water on the actuator. Very happy that it's resolved itself now.

I blame the rain.
