been having trouble in my turbo ute, loosing coolent, which I find it squirts out the overflow once ute is turned off.

is it a blown head gasket allowing air to enter water jacket.

what else could it be, dont relly wanna pull apart until I need to, if it is, will do full rebuild not just doin gasket

Hey bud seen a similar problem on a mates fgf6.

The problem was an air block in radiator,we found by letting car cool completely draining radiator then refilling it solved our problem.

U`d think ford would`ve put an air bleed on thermostat housing, even topping up has to be done completely cool with these cars otherwise same thing reoccurs.

If its overheating and the radiator and expansion tank is bubbling then it is likely that combustion gasses are getting into the coolant system (Head gasket)

Is it blowing smoke and using sh*t loads of coolant too?

Check the expansion tank for obvious sign of gas getting in, if there isnt anything obvious then it could just be bubbling over due to a faulty thermostat or failed pump causing her to overheat. Are the fans working? Check the temps before and after the radiator to check for blockage...

Need heaps more info

Radiator was over pressuring so I thought, flushed and refilled coolant still doing it, went and borrowed a mates radiator/reservoir cap and problem solved, no more leaking/over pressuring. Handy tip for everyone...
