December 3, 201114 yr #202 Author Oh and had a little ticke this morning and she pushed past the 450 now!And with powerplay tomorrow I'll be on the phone to my tyre contact come monday morning I should imagine! I bet there are no boost leaks and the wastegate closes properly on your beast! Respect! I wonder way up there in the mid 400s, you can break traction??? Haha Edited December 3, 201114 yr by djqc
December 3, 201114 yr #203 Actually the flapper mod done to my exhaust housing is not the best, and prob seals up 90% so I'm losing a bit of response there. Prob will wait till March until I buy a bex exhaust housing and gey it done.properly this time."Dyno figures make for good conversation, mph at the strip proves it without reservation"
December 3, 201114 yr #204 Was your 425 tune on E85 or pump?Either way great power, how much extra did you make on E85?How much is E85?
December 4, 201114 yr #205 Yep datalogging can tell you alot about the set-up! I'm happy to show you a few things that will help you make a decision or help your tuner decide what needs to be done......if they don't already know.
December 4, 201114 yr #206 Author I'm starting to lean towards the idea of the wastegate not sealing. If data logging can see if the wastegate isn't sealing properly, then yeah I would live to do it
December 4, 201114 yr #207 High wastegate duty cycle will show insufficient actuator tension.....one decent squirt will show this amongst a number of other things :-)
December 4, 201114 yr #208 You can hear the boost come on pretty quickly here! Some footage from powerplay today at EC.
