The external gate will require a new manifold, dump pipe. Will cost alot more, I'd just see what she runs withyour setup.

Can't wait! spoke to my tuner and he is half way through the job. I ended up getting him to put in some valve springs. He uses crow race valve springs, don't know if they are good or not. I asked about the new manifold and he said it will be very expensive....

plus the fg's have better manifolds than the B series cars anyway

my ute made 340rwk at 17psi stock manifold. then with a 6boost it made 373rwk 15psi ... stock turb ext gate and .70 comp. oh but I changed from a p/w st2 cooler to a stage 3 aswell.

Don't know if I can justify the new gate, new dump, new manifold.... Its a big job!

yeah I would only go that way if I was putting in a larger turbo.

I'm 25 years of age, but right now I feel like a kid at christmas.

My car has received all the fruit and its getting tuned on Saturday. Im waiting with anticipation for the outcome of how it drives and what power it makes. It takes me back to the times of being a kid and counting down the days till christmas.

Looking forward to something, whether it be a holiday, a birthday, or even mods to a car is a good feeling and makes getting up in the morning easy.

I hope others feel like this when getting work done to their pride and joy, otherwise I'm borderline crazy, or a true car enthusiast. I like the latter...

Doubt you will get a 10, especially not on street tyres. ET streets maybe, but you will need a 'moly tailshaft, half shafts and an LSD otherwise you are going to break things.
