At least they've found a fault(is a whistling turbo a fault?? NUP) and are [I'm assuming] fixing/replacing it. Sometimes its a real job convincing service managers theres a problem, like they don't believe or want want to believe you. On the other hand, maybe one of the boys at your dealer wants a fully sick garret turbo for his gemini, so they have told you its faulty so they can claim another one under warranty. Just an early morning thought.RobP.S. Me being the quick thinker that I am, I just realised Friday is before the weekend and not having your T on the weekend would suck. Be upset, I would be. Hope they sort it out soon for ya. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/7746-faulty-turbo/#findComment-69516 Share on other sites

Not the best way to start a new relationship. So far as the whistling is concerned, was there any chance you could name the tune?
