Mine almost since I drove it off the dealership has had a clunk whenever you release the clutch whether you're cruising or giving it some, more pronounced 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd..took it to Sunshine and they reckon they all do it..just wanted to make sure. The bloke from Bryan Bryt said it doesn't sound normal for it to happen through the gears like that. But it does do it a fair bit.. The most pronounced clunks are taking off and 1st to 2nd. I generally find that if I get the perfect balance of clutch and throttle on the shift it doesn't make the noise at all.. So I used it as an indicator of how well I'm driving. Check your diff bush.. If it's fine and it's under warranty just bug the living sh*t out of the dealer until they do something. Guess it's just a characteristic of the car even if it is a little embarrassing on a car with just 1800km on it. But nope.. Yeah you're right though.. It was embarassing taking a few mates for a spin in your new car and shift gears *CLUNK*..
