Fg Bolt In Intercooler

Long time lurker first time poster here so patience please.

Have done lots of searching and there are so many coolers on offer, most seeming to be aimed at hi level mods (lets say 400rwkw+) and require space to be made to fit. I am wondering if anyone has installed an fg aftermarket cooler without using, grinders drills files or any other bastardising tool. I thought maybe the pwr stepped may be ok but saw on ford forums it was not 100% bolt in, perhaps the nizpro fits?

F6 cooler, it's larger, but then again, it's also thinner... So maybe not much of an upgrade

The PWR unit is the only one I am aware of that doenst require removal of the front support plastic bar or cutting it, I was of the impression the PWR didnt not require any cutting at all. have you checked on the PWR website or dropped them a line enquiring about install instructions. Another option is to drop Ratter (Pitlane) an email as I believe they fitted one to Bel's car and some customer cars

Thanks guys, this is from ratters post on Ford Forums re PWR,We chose this cooler as it is a bolt in replacement cooler, but we had to trim some plastic from the lower inner edge of the front bumper bar, nothing visible at all but thought it was worth noting, otherwise all fitted as advertised.

Done some research and the PWR one fits up with the least amount of cutting.

Pwr requires no cutting what so ever have fitted one to my own fg and to a mates and it takes longer to get the bar off than to fit the cooler!

The bar itself does not require any trimming to fit the PWR cooler, but the stoneguard does where the pipes meet up to the cooler. If you reused the OEM hoses (why would you) then technically no trimming at all would be required. You also need to remove the foam strip from the stoneguard as it sits directly under the cooler and fouls on it.

All said, the PWR requires the least amount of modifications to fit. The only other one I would consider would be a process west stage 2.
