June 23, 201115 yr #1 Got a seized turbo on my 2002 XR6T.Have been looking at cheap replacement options. Master Power seem to have really good reviews and affordable. Not china knock offs. What model would be a direct bolt on?If not a master power then what brand/model would be a direct bolt on.

June 23, 201115 yr #4 Just make sure its water and oil and not bush bearing. Billet turbos in brissy have some good options.
June 23, 201115 yr #5 Seems reasonable. But I'd be asking s lot of questions. Also what exactly is wrong with your turbo?? For the price of the ball bearing turbos on that website u could rebuild yours with change.
June 23, 201115 yr #6 Author Its seized, fans or turbine won't move, so bearings are seized (took the front pipe off and tried to turn it, won't budge). Mr Turbo has quoted me $1100 + $400 mechanics labour (never done it myself).
July 6, 201115 yr #7 Author Ok, so I may be able to get a Typhoon Turbo. Will the BA F6 Typhoon turbo directly bolt on to the BA XR6T Turbo?Second option:Garrett exchange program send it to Nth America. (cheap CHRA replacement option) Edited July 6, 201115 yr by XR6Turbosonator

July 6, 201115 yr #9 Author ill have my ba f6 typhoon turbo for sale soon if you keen just depends when you want itASAP, how much you want for it? And will it fit my BA XR6T?
July 6, 201115 yr #10 Pull the turbo off your self its not that hard and you'll save heaps in labour! If your rear housing isn't damaged you can upgrade the front with a billet type wheel and reuse your old housing. This is what I may do still deciding, My bearings are noisy but there is no damage to the front and rear of the housing
