Falcon Sun Guards/roof Spolier

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has ever put a sun guard or roof spoiler on their Falcon? Either OEM or aftermarket.

If not, has anyone got one from a different vehicle and made it look ok? I'm specifically talking about FG's, but any input on older models will be appreciated too.

Thanks for the link mate- exactly what I'm after, but for an FG. Does anyone out there know if there's one for the FG on the market?

after a little googling, the one in the ebay ad above is actually genuine ford.

so maybe ask ford if they make an FG one?

I have the Falcon brochure here in front of me, and it doesn't have anything listed as an option- which is part of the reason why I thought I'd ask. They only have Bonnet Protector/headlamp guards/weathershields listed.

It was an option on the BA/BF and listed on the Ford website. Price at the time was $140 fitted.

I have one on my car.

The kids like it as it shades the back seat.

There is no additional wind noise whatsoever.

As for what it does to deflect and trip the laminar airflow into turbulence over that nicely sloping rear window, rear wing and bluff rear end... well... who knows.

The car has seriously linear handling everywhere all the time including in the wet, so there is definitely no pernicious effect as such.

Picked mine up from [email protected] for $132.00 on 27 Jul 10,

They still had a few on the shelf, so see if they stock an FG one.

Good to see the rear sunshades are still getting a look-in!
