Evening all, on my way to work this morning I drove past what I thought was a Mercury Silver BA falcon wagon, didn't think anything too much of it untill I was about 10 car lenghts in front of him, looked back, and a full XR front end.

I may be completely mistaken, it "may" have been a sedan, but I think as I went past it, it was a wagon.

Can anyone confirm a Merc Silver XR Wagon up here in brissy? Any dealers delivered a wagon with an XR front end anywhere around australia. I've always had a soft spot for wagons, would love to see any pics if anyone has some.

Cheers

Adam

The dealer up the road used to fit XR fronts to get rid of the old excess stock from the AU series.Made the wagon look acceptable.I would assume they are probley doing the same thing to the BA.

Ford really need to update there wagon soon as in my opinion they look bl--dy dreadfull. The rear is all out of proportion and sits to high plus still riding on leaf springs. You are right concerning there is a market for a T wagon that is lowered with the front end and 18s.

If there was a xr6 T wagon, I would have bought it. Bench front seats, columb shift auto and paint it burnt orange.....
