Finally got around to fitting my Street Tein coilovers with the EDFC controller. The dam controller and running the wiring took longer than the fitting of the suspension.lol. Well worth the effort though. The ride can be compared to standard on the soft setting even though the vehicle is now sitting much lower and nice and firm when you dial it right up. All through the comfort of the cockpit! Highly recommend it to anyone looking at a suspension upgrade!

BTW I have the standard shocks with lowered king springs all round that I need to get rid of. Send me a PM if you're interested.

I dont notice much difference on the street between the hardest and softest settings, but on the track the difference between 4 values is noticeable :)

That's good news. Is it standard flex? I welded a beefplate in the centre of mine. I bought another flex plate and machined the centre out an welded it in place. They also sell them this way on eBay for $200.

no the first time I did the flexplate I replaced it with an atomic flexplate, the flexplate itself hasnt come loose again its the torque converter bolts giving me grief! but so far so good with another set of bolts and loctite.

Are they new or second hand ??? If they are second hand I hope you checked them out well. They are great dampers, but depending on how they have been used, have a life span before needing to be rebuilt.

I think mine are just about ready to be done. They either leak, knock or just get real comfy before they let go. But on the plus side you can have them rebuilt even better than std. Just like the 6 million $ man. lol. Gold valves and shimms, better oil, new gas mmm mmm sweet.

Sorry not trying to be negative at all. I love the teins for the road. Just know someone who bought a set off ebay and a month later could not use his car for almost a month while the shocks were rebuilt.
