Decoding

Hi,

Can someone please help me. We have just put in a second hand ICC unit into my car as the old one was busted. When we have plugged it in, it comes up saying we need a code. I know this is generally specific to the car but does anyone know where I can find this info? Have looked through all the books and found nothing. Is it easier to take it to Ford and have them decode it?

Thanks

You'll have to take it to Ford for that.

I assume you swapped your original BEM onto the replacement ICC?

Did you use your originally bem module. You have to recode it if not. Plus decode occur and graft your remotes again anyone with a decent scanner can do it

Below the ICC is the BEM(the 4 plugs that you undid )

did you swap this unit or use the one with the Replacement ICC

If you didnt swap it , rmove ICC again and swap the BEM unit

if you DID swap it did you RE-SEAT the ICC bus socket?

you will find the instructions contained within my RCA mod (is a sticky)

Also after replacing the ICC switch yor Ignition to on (but not start) for 10 secs then off again then on

( the CAN bus wont talk to the ICC till the IGN is on.)

hope that helps

if you cant swap your bem , your up for a trip to ford to the the BEM recoded
