Hi guys,

I'm looking for a set of Ford number plate surrounds. I've found a set on eBay, but it's not what the customer's original surrounds were like, and was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a pair.

The surrounds fit around the 6-digit Number Plate, and has the "Ford" logo and "Racing" written across the bottom in white on a black-strip (very similar to the one on eBay, can be seen here.), however, the number plate is protected with a clear-plastic that fits over the top.

If anyone has a contact or knows a store with these plates, I'd be very grateful! Unfortunately, the ones we had for the customer we lost in postage, and the supplier can no longer get them in.

try astor base metals in sydney..They manufacture the gt ones they might make the ones your after..They wont sell to you direct ..but should put you onto an outlet that does...

that's is if they are the ones that make them........

Thanks for the reply - will give Astor Base Metals a call during lunch hour. The GT ones you mentioned, is that the ones on eBay with the "Falcon GT" written underneath?

If so, the ones the customer is after are quite different - they have the Ford logo and "Racing" written on the bottom, with the checker-flag pattern on the left and right hand side of the bottom border.

that's the ones im talking about..I use to deal with this company years ago..I haven't for years now...but like I said they make the number plate surrounds..Maybe not the ones your after but worth a try..Might be able to tell you who else makes them...
