3 Speed Compared To 6 Speed Auto

what I would really like to know is, what is it like to drive,say a c4 3 speed with say 3grand converter. can you use them everyday, are they a *beep* to drive with. I can get a built one to handle 650hp of my brothers mate that's only 3 months old for $1700 with 3 month warranty still left with the converter. and rang around to find out how much to convert to put in my bf mk2, transtyle in hallam can do it for another $800 on top with with standard zf shifter mod to suit so it looks factory. plus trans cooler as well. just don't know any1 who has a ba/bf with 1 in. nothing wrong with my zf just thought at that price not a bad mod considering how much to tuffen up a zf these days thanks.

LOL worm will give it to you for $2300 if you want it that bad, just have to factor in my commission in mate? but really do you know what it's like to drive with.

Ive got a C4 conversion with 3500 rpm stall (from a BTR 4 speed) in my BA Ute, its a dream to drive on the street but revs high on the freeway with standard diff gears etc (100km/hr = 3000rpm)also went for a standard look with a manual xr plate and leather surround to cover the B @ M Pro Ratchet shifter!!

rip-hsv like the way your shifter looks in there, just looks like a manual looks sweet as and did end up buying the c4, will be a month or 2 before it goes in while I do other things to the car.
