Looking at doing some well needed cleaning...

Going to clean the inside of the piping, crossover etc..

When cleaning the crossover & piping from the cross over to the turbo & the cooler, would I just use degreaser??

degreaser works fine, but can cause corrosion to aluminium so alot of people use kerosene to flush the cooler...

carby throttle body cleaner is great but deadly, will melt normal paint to water lol

the cross over is very strong paint there's actually a chrome paint or coating under the black to prevent heat getting into the cross over,

I use throttle body cleaner but try and avoid the outside areas of the crossover, never had any problems just let it all dry well before putting back together car runs like crap on throttle cleaner.

I dont see how degreaser can cause that much damage when a detailer can degrease and engine with a pressure spray gun even... I dunno.. im still not going to use degreaser.. that's for sure...

Ill take some photos before and after.. should be a good thread once completed..
