Hi All. First time posting. rather desperate for info. I have just finished converting to manual and am wondering if anyone knows where I can wire my reverse switch on the gearbox to??? I have kept the auto loom and just fitted a manual pcm. also I am having troubles with my cruise not working now. I have wired the clutch pedal switch up, do you think maybe the pcm I have doesnt have cruise enabled?

Thanks in advance for any advice/info

If you haven't already, buy a BA manual from Ebay, find the correct wire colours for the reverse switch wires. Extend these, Feed them over the box to the switch on the RH of the box. Crimp two insulated spades on the wires and connect.

You didn't need to change the pcm, only need to flash a manual config file into it. Im assuming your auto trans harness is still in place. if not you will need to find the correct pin outs from the pcm for the reverse light wiring and extend down to the gear box.

I have a workshop manual but it doesnt say anything about wire colours just pin numbers, it says pin B30 so I tried that and no good. I have still got the auto selector switch plugged in and zip tied under the car with it in park position. if I remove it the car will not crank. shouldnt I be able to run without this with the manual pcm. will a manual ba start with the clutch not pushed in. maybe my clutch switch is not wired correctly.

Yes. My BA F6 will start with the transmission in neutral and the clutch not depressed.

well then it cant be the clutch switch. unless my BEM is causing the car not to start as it knows its not in park, I may have to just leave to gear position switch connected and zip tied up under the car and just run a 12v to the gearbox reverse switch then to the tow harness in the boot. this will work but didnt want to do it dodge.
