One bush in the front rhs needs replacing soon, and my brakes are shot (contacting Hiro this week for some newies), but otherwise they said that for a car that's done 90,000ks the car could pass for having done 30, said that even the shocks were in gread condition and still firm... WOOHOO!I drove the car for maybe 50kms and the 'dunk' noise is back... I've checked the spare tyre, gone over the WHOLE car twice, and am now thinking maybe I should take it to pedders in rockhampton (3 hours from here, and the closest suspension shop) and have the $29 inspection.Anyone got any ideas.? There should be one somewhere... Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/70626-just-spent-1200-on-tranny-and-diff/#findComment-1041563 Share on other sites
seduced Need more power. Now taking donations. Member 753 Member For: 16y 2m 3d Gender: Male Posted 20/09/10 03:58 AM Share Posted 20/09/10 03:58 AM Replace the tailshaft with some aftermarket version, reduce all tolerances, and forget peddars. They will tell you all shocks need replacing and half the bushes.Other than that, get used to it. I have vibration issues which I believe are in the gearbox after the entire rear driveline was replaced from the gearbox back, but I have given up searching and I don't really notice them all that much anymore. How much do you spend for what is really minor? These are cheap cars afterall. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/70626-just-spent-1200-on-tranny-and-diff/#findComment-1041564 Share on other sites

I was hoping it was the spare in the boot, but it's tight as a nuns... well yeah.
