Guys I have read the various posts on previous threads but just want to confirm wether the turbo needs to come out in order to change the drivers side engine mount...assuming you have we are using conventional tools...

I have done heaps and never pulled the turbo off. Take the heat shield of the mount which is held in by a round clip which goes over the centre bolt of the mount.

Undo the the nut and than the bolt at the lower section of the mount jack the motor up and out comes the mount.

it does sometimes you may need to use a screw drive to dislodge it but yes.

jack the motor up under the right hand side of the bell housing.
