sorry to hi jack, but my zf is slightly slipping on cold start up. only for the first few changes then its fine. should I be having a look at some of these clutch packs? and that's only on very very light throttle.

Are you sure its slipping? If so it doesn't sound good.

Slight flairing on gear changes when cold is normal. Are you seeing this? or are you literally strugling to get power to the wheels (light throttle of course)

Maybe one of the zf gurus can shed more light

nah just a slight flair on light throttle, like its slipping on a stall, just never had an auto do this to me. and just worried because it has only happened since the tuner put the shift cut back in the tune. didnt have it for about 6 months (killer gear changes without it though) lol, was like a mega shift kit!

In that case it sounds like a torque limiter setting. Saying that, I dont know a whole lot about tuning so probably best to ask a tuner or your tuner.

My car's previous owner had the ZF trans re-built by XFT in WA, one of the mobs F6_Tornado showed the ropes. I've found it to be flawless, bloody sensational. Same goes for everyone I've talked to in the same boat from Perth & Interstate, all going great

F6.......Where can we get the parts???

I think there is a company over your way called MotoSpec who sell parts for the ZF.. I buy mine direct from ZF but the public can buy from MotoSpec.
