Getting To 320 Or Rwkw!

Hi,

Im not aware of everything about BA Turbos so I wanted to c what other ppl thoguht.

I currently have a 2003 turbo that has had a few mods to get 270Rwkw!

I would like to know what I eed to do to reach 300 atleast. And how much coin I would be looking at spending! I am not aware of all the mods my cars had. I believe it has had, larger intercooler kit, custom tun, flash tuner, injectors, stall thingy and perhaps a few other little things.

Wher do I need to go from here to get more power? Vaklvle springs? Fuel pump?? Any help would be good.

Well im not 100% sure what it has in it, but it is defiantly not standard...

In a BA with a 4 speed you would want to do the following:

- Injectors 60lb

- Intank high flow fuel pump

- Valve springs

- Exhaust, just change cat or get a turbo back exhaust.

- Intake, for simplicity get an under battery intake.

- Cooler, get anything to eliminate the crossover pipe. New 3" cold side piping and a big cooler.

- 12psi boost actuator

- Good trans cooler if it is a 4 speed and change the trans fluid (full flush)

- If it was me I'd also replace coil packs, tps, plugs and oxygen sensor.

- Custom tune

Like other have said look at the 300+ section. You can make 300rwkw with less but I'd hesitate to use that power in a BA.

Ok Thanks, iv had a bit of a look in the other section.

Figured I will need to valve springs, fuel pump, surge, exhaust and custome tuned again.

Already got a good large cooler kit with pod and just replaced the coils and spark plugs..

Would need to check whether my injectors 60bs but they have been changed to help it reach the 270Rwkw that's its currently making on 10PSI!

if you have a histall its gonna rob 30rwkw or so from a dyno readout.. jump it up to 15psi, valve springs and that's fine. Your injectors will be fine for 300rwkw if they are ther 42lb's or higher. You can remove the centre muffler and put a high flow cat in too.

just had my std 03 ba xr6 turbo with 4spd auto tuned, before I tuned it, it had a k&n filter and F6 cold air intake and made 179kw. I had valve springs done, bigger injectors and the turbo waste gate upgraded and that netted 272 kw with the std fuel pump and intake system. I will need to upgrade the intercooler and fuel pump to get any more power.

I keep forgetting the fuel pump! get it only couple hundred fitted and supplied.

All you need is CAT, cooler, 42lb injectors and valve springs, however, full exhaust and 4" dump will make it easier and in tank pump or surge tank will make it safer.

You don't need to do the converter, tuner can set torque tags in the tune to prolong the life of the trans.

ok kool, so y is it that my hi stall will rob 30rwkw on the dyno? it made 271RWKW atm with having only the hi stall, 60lb injectors, kooler kit and middle muffler taken out on 10 psi?...

so id b looking at, valve springs, fuel pump and a high cat ??.. sounds alright to me to bump up a few more rwkw's!..
