I heard a bit of a PSSSHHH, wasn't to loud over the noise from the mirrors but I heard it. Since then I've had very little boost and powaar and when I back off all I hear is a short psshh and no more TU tu tu. Could this be from the blow off valve stuck slightly open - or more likely to be from one of the silicon joiners. Are these blow of valves serviceable?I have a BF with the ZF box, Plazmaman piping and cooler, stock blowoff valve and running 16psi. Check the pipe connecting to your throttle body. That rubber joiner either has melted, has a hole in it or came loose. Still got a leak, looks like the front bar and headlight will be coming off this weekend. I had the same thing as you happen to me and that tb joiner melted. Do you have aftermarket piping? If so it could also be the one with the air flow sensor in it under the headlight. Hope u find it soon Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/67912-bosch-blowoff-valve-failure/#findComment-1005405 Share on other sites

I had mine off the other week and looking up the bottom you can see the piston sealing on the base, it should be all the way down and you should be able to push it up a bit, it has quite a strong spring behind it. I want to get a turbo smart kompact blow off valve to replace it soon. I'm heading to cairns tonight. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/67912-bosch-blowoff-valve-failure/#findComment-1005642 Share on other sites
